Description
This "supplier version" of the official ISO/TS 16949:2002 Certification Body (CB) Auditor Recertification
Evaluation and Training Course focuses on the International Automotive Task Force's (IATF's) expectations
for auditor performance defined in Certification Body Auditor Competency Criteria (the criteria developed
by the IATF which details what an automotive auditor needs to know and do to be able to audit accurately
and consistently) and Rules for achieving IATF recognition 2nd Edition. Topics addressed in the training
include:
- Stage 1 readiness review
- Automotive process approach auditing
- Reporting findings
- Investigating nonconformity management
- Auditing customer specifics
For recertification as an ISO/TS 16949:2002 Supplier Auditor, besides attending the course
you will be evaluated with a written examination assessing knowledge and a written examination
assessing skill. The examinations cover general content of ISO/TS 16949:2002 and the application
of automotive process approach auditing principles and practices. Note: Successful completion of
this course/exam does not qualify you to conduct CB/third-party audits.
